    I think this is probably the Swastika. It was certainly used by the ancient Irish and is an instantly recognised symbol of the last 100 years. I never heard that it was used by early Christians or as a symbol of Vishnu or Thor.

    One symbol that definitely was used by early Christians was the fish as a symbol of Christ, because in Greek, the initials of the phrase Jesus Christ Saviour of the World spelt out the word fish.

    I remember seeing the Swastika on building decorations in Bhutan when I was there. Bhutan is Bhuddist. Interesting!!
