Mosquitos can't have teeth. They don't even have a skeleton. If a mosquito were to have teeth, why would it have more than a human?

Maybe 'Issac Asimov' is wrong... Can you see any teeth here under this electron microscope? I can't see any... http://www.geocities.com/thesciencefiles/mosquito/mosquito.html No mention of teeth here: 'A mosquito taxonaomic glossary-The mosquito head.' Checkout page 11 Figure 4 (Enlarge to 250 percent) Any teeth? Nope! Perhaps blades? http://wrbu.si.edu/www/culicidae/balkindistributions/MS02N01P023.PDF Video: It appears that the entire proboscis goes into the host when in reality, the outer sheath is pushed away from the stylets, and remains entirely above the skin. The sheath cannot be seen in this video. http://www.rci.rutgers.edu/~insects/mosvid.htm Female sound http://www.co.hernando.fl.us/mosquito/biology.htm Quotes: (No mention of teeth) The proboscis or mouth is a tube-like funnel that extends down and looks like a straw. In the center of the proboscis are two very slender tubes. One tube is for the saliva to flow down into the bite, the other tube is used for sucking blood into the mouth. The mouth looks like a tube-like funnel, called the proboscis, which extends down. It is used to 'bite', and sip likelihoods, like plant juices. It is really like a straw
