Or Mountbatten. Mum is a Windsor, Dad is a Mountbatten. Take your pick I guess.

I think the family name is Mountbatten, but the Queen has ruled that she is Windsor and that whoever rules after her will be Windsor. Of course Charles may change that when he gets to be king, if ever. If the Queen lives as long as her mother did, Charles may die before her.

The royal house remains that of Windsor, as confirmed by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at her accesion.
On February 8, 1960 she announced that her descendants in the male line, other than those styled 'Royal Highness', would take the name Mountbatten-Windsor, by the addition of her husband's name to her own. As with the surname Windsor, Mountbatten-Windsor will not come into general use until the third generation: at the birth of children to any sons of HRH The Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and HRH The Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex.

But then of course, Windsor is only a contrived surname. The real family name was Saxe-Coburg-Gotha (from Queen Victoria's husband Prince Albert). It was changed in 1914 when German-sounding names became rather unpopular. 'Windsor' was chosen because the family owned Windsor Castle and it sounded English.
