Sound travels faster in the more dense air at sea level than in the thinner air high above Earth. It ranges from about 760 mph at sea level to approximately 660 mph at 36,000 feet. Sound travels even faster in water.

On my return from time away from FunTrivia, I found myself on Level 42. So what better way to celebrate than to write a quick quiz on the band that I was into as a child. Not quick enough it seems - I was on Level 43 by the time I finished!
