Good question. At the height of their success, they were one of my favourite pop bands. Regrettably, they went a bit weird, at which time I lost interest (and, from the evidence of their singles' lower and lower chart positions, so did many others). The most up-to-date edition of 'Guinness British Hit Singles' gives details of a UK single release entitled 'Freedom' from October 2000, which peaked at number 27. I have not heard this song, and I don't know if Vince and Andy have released anything else since that. The last album I remember was the lamentable 'Cowboy' from 1997. Sorry I don't know more than that....

I saw Erasure live at the Milton Keynes Bowl in the early 90s and they were superb (and as camp as a row of tents). Nice to see they're still going. Interestingly, songwriting genius Vince Clark chose Andy Bell as a vocalist following the split of Yazoo, due to him sounding uncannily like Alison Moyet. The following link is worth a look:

Erasure has put out a new album "Light at the End of the World" and has been touring on the True Colors tour with Cyndi Lauper, et al.

Many people stop following their career after "I Say I Say I Say" album, but the fact is that they have never stopped releasing great albums after this one. The self-titled (95), Cowboy (97), Loveboat (00), OPS (03), Nightbird (05), Union Street (06) and Light At The End Of The World (07) were all good works, for saying the least, but unfortunately they've been highly underrated by the pop audience.
