Melvyn Bragg wrote the screenplay for the film of 'Jesus Christ Superstar'. John Cleese co-wrote the screenplay for 'Monty Python's Life of Brian', which features Jesus. James Lee Barrett wrote the screenplay for 'The Greatest Story Ever Told', which also concerns Jesus. Anthony Burgess wrote a novel called 'Jesus of Nazareth' and also wrote the screenplay for Zeffirelli's film of the book. Denys Arcand directed, and wrote the screenplay for, 'Jesus of Montreal' The Apostle Mark wrote an account of the life of Jesus which has probably served as a basis for a number of films. But Homer never wrote an epic, novel or screenplay about Jesus, so I think he must be the odd man out.
