I have a 78rpm record of Mr A Silstone playing the Liberty Horn. I know that you blow it and pluck strings on it at the same time (really!) but I can find no information about it. Record is about 80 years old. Can anyone help?

    Not everyone is helpful!

I have sent over 500 emails over the last 18 months requesting information.
This is the ONLY person who has replied negatively.
And it is refreshing,I guess, to receive one such as this!
    It puts life into perspective.

'This is why not to have a website. I didn't know you have a website. I hope the search engines don't come up with your website whenever anybody types in 'liberty horn'.
Tell the guy to do research on the recording label. Tell him to use his computer to find sound archives, sound libraries, libraries with recordings departments, etc. No wonder we get spam.
My new dim outlook on life is that no matter how we might try to improve ourselves, our lives and our lot, we're always at the mercy of any idiot that comes along. E.g., anybody can sue us for anything, any time they wish. I guess too much %E9galit%E9 can eat away at the ole libert%E9.'

    Cheer up old chap.
Go and play with your instrument!
