Cardiff City beat the Arsenal 1-0 at Wembley on April 23 1927 in the final of the F.A. Cup to become the only non English team to lift the trophy. Queen's Park (Not QPR) a Scottish club had been invited to play in the very first F.A Cup of 1872. In 1884 and 1885 Queen's Park were runners-up. On both occasions they met Blackburn Rovers in the final. Blackburn won 2-1 in 1884 and 2-0 in 1885.
