Sorry, but if you are defining sports teams as either NFL, MLB, NBA, or NHL, 6 of the 10 aforementioned cities do not fit this category. Boston: Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, but no football team (Patriots are based in Foxboro, not Boston). Miami: Dolphins, Heat, but no baseball or hockey team (Marlins and Panthers are both known as FLORIDA Marlins and FLORIDA Panthers. Although Pro Player Stadium is located in Miami, the Office Depot Center is in Sunrise, not Miami.) Denver: Broncos, Nuggets, but no baseball or hockey team (Rockies and Avalanche are both known as COLORADO Rockies and COLORADO Avalanche, and not by Denver, even though both Coors Field and the Pepsi Center are located in Denver.) Dallas: Cowboys, Mavericks, Stars, but no baseball team (Rangers are located in Arlington, not Dallas.) Phoenix: Suns, Coyotes, but no football or baseball team (Cardinals and D'Backs are both known as ARIZONA Cardinals and ARIZONA D'Backs, and not by Phoenix, even though both Sun Devil Stadium and Bank One Ballpark are located in Phoenix.)
