    What are the three deepest lakes in North America and where are they?

    Crater Lake, Oregon, U.S.A. 1,943 ft (592 m)

    Lake Tahoe, California and Nevada, U.S.A. 1,685 ft (514 m)

    However, this site says Quesnel Lake in BC, Canada at 530 meters would be the third one.

    		Crater Lake has an official maximum depth of 594 meters. It has an average depth of 350 meters. Based on a comparison of average depths, Crater Lake would be the deepest, not only in North America, but throughout the entire Western Hemisphere.
