    Chelsea Gibb played Roxie

    Chicago Melbourne Opening Night 8pm 4th July 1998

    Caroline O'Connor has the looks, the voice, the height,(and the hair) to play Velma. She received a huge cheer ...

    Chelsea Gibb blew me away. Elegant, slick and seemingly pure and innocent, her Roxie was in complete contrast to Caroline's bitchy Velma'.

    		Thanks Kaintanu, forgot you were an Aussie. But wasn't there an earlier version staged here in Sydney. I thought it was a lot further back than 1998
