THE first traffic light to be put into use was in London in 1868 well before the motor car was invented This was to control traffic at a busy intersection in London but only had two colours red and green.Later in Detroit,some say 1919 or 1920 the traffic lights using three colours was installed Feb 01 03, 10:24 PM
