The first is the Knight's tale of Palamon and {Arcite;} the last is the Parson's tale, which is a prose sermon dealing mainly with the seven deadly sins. (Checked in 'The Complete Works of Geoffrey Chaucer', edited by F. N. Robinson (Oxford University Press)
