    What year were the Houses of Parliament finally erected?

    		In 1864 rebuilt after the fire,and the Commons Chamber was rebuilt after bomb damage in WW2

    		To give it it's proper title,the Palace of Westminster was originally built in 1295.This building was mainly destroyed by fire in 1834 and rebuilt n 1870.Susequently our German friends caused significant damage by the aerial bombadment of London in 1941 which led to it being rebiult once again and since 1950 it looks the same as it does now
