How many seats are there on a standard 747 jumbo jet?

It's very hard to say what a 'standard' 747 is, airlines seems to configure them all sorts of ways. Most take around 400 people, but some cram in 500 or more.

The Boeing website says there are 416 seats in a Boeing 747-400, but it all depends on the airline and how they arrange the seats.
