Who was taunted with the phrase 'Ma, Ma, where's my Pa?'

    Question #28792. Asked by Yank.

    McGruff

Ma!Ma! Where's my pa?.....this little ditty alluded to a scandal concerning Grover Cleveland. He had been accused of having an illegitimate child prior to his presidency. Cleveland supporters turned the depreciating slogan around by adding a few words: Ma!Ma! Where's my Pa? Gone to the White House Ha! Ha! Ha!
