    Can someone explain the movement of blood through organs, heart and lungs?

    If Cystic Fibrosis primarily affects the lungs and digestive and reproductive systems then why do sufferers have a heart and lung transplant rather than just a lung transplant. Surely having both the heart and lungs transplanted would not only make it harder to find a match but would increase the risks and complications?
