Alexander Hamilton was killed in a duel by Aaron Burr. After Alexander Hamilton wrote articles in his news paper which was the New York Post, These articles contained nonsense that was meant to swing voters away from Aaron Burr in the 2nd term Presidential election against Thomas Jefferson. Aaron Burr lost to Thomas Jefferson twice due to Alexander Hamilton the first time was because The electoral college between Thomas Jefferson and Aaron Burr was a tie during Jeffersons first election. Alexander Hamilton helped the house of representives elect Thomas Jefferson the 3rd president. The duel was taken place in New Jersey because dueling was illegal in New York. The great duelist Aaron Burr shot and soon killed Alexander Hamilton. Aaron Burr became a felon and fleaed to New Orleans because of the loop hole in New Jersey stating you can duel, but cannot kill in the duel. And the rest is a whole other story.... my hands are tired.
