Aboriginal People came to North America from asia across an ice bridge that formed several thousand years before explorers started explorering north america at the time of the ice age before glaciers had started melting. The last batch of people to cross the ice bridge became known as the eskimos. The glaciers then melted forming all the lakes seas and rivers known to man kind today!

'Aboriginal' means 'people that were there from the beginning', in other words, the people who already lived there when the Europeans arrived. The American Indians arrived in America through Alaska and Canada about 10,000 years ago.
