India won the Cricket World Cup in 1983, by defeating the West Indies. I take it you don't follow cricket, Blue Loo. Otherwise you would know that the most recent World Cup was competed for in South Africa in 2003 with Australia victorious. The next tournament is due in 2007, with the West Indies hosting for the first time. Soccer isn't the only sport to play World Cups, contrary to what Durs seems to believe. Apr 20 04, 5:41 AM
