    There was something unusual about Buddy Holly's funeral. What was it?

    I'm not sure it would be termed 'unusual' under the circumstances, but Holly's widow did not attend the funeral service.

    In addition to the above post, I've found the following which I would take with a grain of salt:

    "At Buddy Holly's funeral the vicar said that he was going to hell (Rock and Roll was the devil's music)."
