    What is quantum physics?

    Question #3058. Asked by lavie.

    JSBach

Physics of particles, i.e. tiny little bits of matter and/or energy found in atoms. One of the laws of it says that energy always comes in multiples of a unit (quantum, hence Quantum Theory). It was initially believed that this applied to matter but smaller particles have since been found in the nucleus of atoms.
