Jupiter, which holds the title of largest planet in the solar system, has now captured the "planet with the most moons" title from the ringed world of Saturn. On May 16, 2002, astronomers from the University of Hawaii's Institute for Astronomy and England's Cambridge University announced that they have discovered 11 new moons around Jupiter, bringing the total of Jovian moons to 39.
