    The most-played song, heard over 8 million times, was 'You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling', written by Barry Mann, Phil Spector and Cynthia Weil. If the song were played 8 million times, one after the other, it would take over 45 years to finish.

    BMI, the performing rights organization in charge of collecting royalties for more than 140,000 US songwriters, recently released a list of the most played songs on American radio and television. The most-played song, heard over 8 million times, was "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling", written by Barry Mann, Phil Spector and Cynthia Weil. If the song were played 8 million times, one after the other, it would take over 45 years to finish.
