    		im not sure exactly what you mean by what was going on.... though the anti discrimination act was passed in 1977 as well as the first land right claims being lodged by indigenous australians. the redfern legal centre was set up by lawyers, law students, social workers and community activists to address the problems of marginalised people, particularly indigenous australians having no access to quality legal services.
