What is a marsupial and where can I find them?

Marsupials are mammals that have pouches to raise their young in. Inside the pouch are the mammary glands. The baby comes out of her mom when it is only partially developed and fully develops outside in the pouch. Marsupials give birth to live young (they don't lay eggs) and carry their young in a pouch while they suckle and grow - like a kangaroo. Marsupials are mammals who diverged around 125 million years ago due to the ureters migrating to the bladder over the top of the reproductive tract, where as placental ureters migrated underneath. Fossils found in all continents, oldest in China.
