He must have been convinced when he did it. On July 23, 1979, Ted Bundy was CONVICTED on two counts of first-degree murder in the Chi Omega sorority slayings. He received another death sentence for the murder of 12 year old Kimberly Leach. Ted Bundy was electrocuted in January 24, 1989.

The info I have is the 31 July 1979, for the murders of Lisa Levy, and Margaret Bowman. He became convict number 699063 in Hailford Penitentiary,Florida,and was put to the chair, 'Old Smokey'(America's oldest working electric chair),on 24 January 1989.
