There is a signpost at Land's End which says 874 miles to John O'Groats. The walk of walks is of course the end-to-end, from John O'Groats in Scotland to Lands' End at the toe of the Cornish boot or vice versa. As the crow flies it is about 650 miles, but it can be almost 1400 miles depending on which route you take.
