    Why is it that when you put nice soft music on, babies behave good, but once hard loud music is on, they go nuts?

    		What I was trying to say was that babies have a very good sense of sounds. If you play them soothing soft music they react accordingly (they say that Whale Noises sooth babies), if you play them loud, hard rock they enjoy the sensations of the beat. It's not a new phenomenon the classics have words to describe the effect - Lullaby being one of them.
    How do you keep a 3 year old quiet? - Give them two saucepan lids to bang together! (Long standing family joke!)
