I was amazed to find there are Olympics for computers. The current chess champion is called Deep Junior.

It recently fought out a 3-3 draw with Gary Kasparov. Mind you, it was no match for him when they tried kick boxing! (LOL)

The best chess computer program out there is probably Deep Blue, which was the first computer to defeat a world chess champion (Gary Kasparov) in a match. However, the best program that is made available to the public is Rebel Decade or Fritz, both of which are capable of easily beating a grandmaster.
