This does not answer the question. Patrick Roy was on my Montreal Canadiens when we won the Cup in 1993 and was not traded until late 1995, winning Cups for Colorado in 96 and 01. barcorder's "answer" does NOT give a figure for most PLAYOFF wins by a goalie, and it is possible from this that Roy is not even the correct answer!!!
Ahem...
The CORRECT answer DOES happen to be Patrick Roy. The number is 151 playoff wins.

The question does not ask for the number of playoff wins, it asks for the name of the goalie. In that respect, barcoder's answer appears to be correct.
"A four-time Stanley Cup winner with the Montreal Canadiens and Colorado Avalanche, Patrick Roy enjoyed a fruitful 18-year career in the NHL. He took home the Vezina Trophy (for best goaltender) three times, and was also awarded three Conn Smythe Trophies for his most valuable performance in the playoffs. Roy retired in 2003 with the most regular season and playoff wins of any goaltender, and also holds the record for most 30-win seasons with 13. Oh, and he also won a few Stanley Cups along the way."
