In the deep ocean, there is this creature (arthropod) that lives in the bottom in the sediment that looks just like a giant rolly polly. Any information on this?

    Try looking here www.imagequest3d.com
If you then type 'deep sea arthropod' on the input strip it will show you loads of images of these alien type thingies.

Are you sure its an arthropod you're looking for ?
I recall watching a t.v. programme some time ago about deep sea cephalopods(thats octopus to you and I).This one octopus was pure white and lived and hunted mainly on the sea bed , it appeared to almost walk instead of swim and the researcher nicknamed it 'DUMBO' , as it resembled the cartoon elephant .
This creature was rather 'rolly polly' looking.Sadly though I cant remember its exact name .If you think it could have been this , try a Google search for cephalopods.
