None of the shows named so far are anywhere near early enough. Quite a few Australian shows during the 1970s showed nudity as well as gay relationships (even the 'gay kiss' that scared American censors for so many years). Older Aussies here will remember with fondness or horror: 'No 96', 'The Box' and 'Alvin Purple'.

The Australian shows mentioned above involved full-frontal male and female nudity of adults - in prime time! 'No 96' and 'Alvin Purple' (1976) went to air at 8:30pm and 'The Box' at 9:30 pm
