I know this for a fact because it happend to my parents and older sister and mom told me about it. Whether or not anyone shows up to the theatre to see a show they are required to run it when it's scheduled incase someone shows up later. They saw "Popeye" and were the only 3 in the theatre and were gonna see something else but the lady said they had to do it either way so they might as well stay and see that movie since it was what they came to see.

definitely yes puzzlerguy. i take my dad to the movies around twice a week and we are often the only ones there. sometimes if we are running a little late, we walk in after it has started and the movie is showing with no-one else in the theatre.
