    Where do they get all these names from? Can't it just be beephobia or waspaphobia?

    They're derived from the Latin. You can see other words with the same roots: another word for a beehive is an apiary, and those Italian scooters are called Vespas.

    Melissophobia is also a fear of bees, and spheksophobia is a fear of wasps.
