Yesterday I went fishing. I caught a fish that had coloring like a bass, yet it was very skinny and had a reddish coloring in its tail and fins. Does anyone know what type of fish this might be?

I'm very fond of fish and chips, but like freshwater fish, not sea fish. What is the biggest freshwater fish and where does it live?
