Is the second fastest animal in the world an antelope?

You need to clarify the question. Given that some birds of prey can achieve speeds of 200 mph in a dive, then the cheetah at 70mph may be second. If so then maybe you need the 3rd fastest in which case a fish, the SAILFISH, can reach speeds of 60 mph. Jul 20 03, 12:55 PM
