In ten pin bowling, what is the term to describe an all spares game?

Question #36444. Asked by mermaidoz. (Jul 21 03 11:44 PM)

    Senior Moments

Still looking but a Dutch 200 is a game of exactly 200 made by alternating strikes and spares throughout the entire game.

    Clean Sheet

If you make ALL your spares in the game it is called a clean sheet. Making your spares is the simplest way to raise your average on the way to becoming a scratch/par bowler. http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/kennmelvin/scorer2.htm

probably more commonly referred to in the uk as a "closed game" - i.e. no "open frames" and is fairly common.

dutch 200's are a fairly rare event - the concept arises from league bowling where you play shots on alternate lanes. Because the condition maybe easier on one lane than the other you get a run of strikes on that one .... but can only spare on the other.
