    REDD FOXX was born John Elroy Sanford, December 9, 1922, in St. Louis, MO;
    He died of a heart attack, November 11, 1991, in Los Angeles, CA;
    He was the son of Fred Glenn Sanford (an electrician) and Mary Alma (maiden name Carson - a domestic worker and radio preacher)
    He married Evelyn Killibrew in 1948 (divorced her in 1951)
    then married Betty Jean Harris in 1955 (divorced her 1974)
    then married Yun Chi Chung on 31 Dec 1976(divorced - 9 Sept 1981)
    then married Kaho Cho on 8 July 1991;
    He has a stepdaughter - Debraca - adopted from 2nd marriage to Betty Jean
