McGruff, either that site is biased or it is my textbooks that are biased, I was taught that he was one of those cruel and extremist rulers and would do anything to get what he wanted. He was a strict Islamist and imposed a tax called Jaziya on all non-Muslims. About his death, I was taught that he died of age, and wasn't killed. Aug 08 03, 6:23 AM
