    Was Linda Lusardi ever in the program 'The Bill'?

    		It was reported back in 2000 that former page three girl, Linda Lusardi was to appear in an episode of ITV's long-running police drama, The Bill.

    Lusardi, who briefly appeared in the C4 soap Brookside, would star as Maggie Lyons, girlfriend of Detective Don Beech - played by actor Billy Murray.

    She made her screen debut on 23 May.

    A spokeswoman for The Bill said there were no plans for Lusardi's character to become a regular in the series.

    She appeared in The Bill (2000) as Maggie Lyons in seven episodes in total including - "Love or Money" on 26.5.2000, "Fake Fur" on 6.10.2000, "All Fall Down, Part 1" on 27.10.2000 and "All Fall Down, Part 2", 31.10.00
