It was reported back in 2000 that former page three girl, Linda Lusardi was to appear in an episode of ITV's long-running police drama, The Bill. Lusardi, who briefly appeared in the C4 soap Brookside, would star as Maggie Lyons, girlfriend of Detective Don Beech - played by actor Billy Murray. She made her screen debut on 23 May. A spokeswoman for The Bill said there were no plans for Lusardi's character to become a regular in the series. She appeared in The Bill (2000) as Maggie Lyons in seven episodes in total including - "Love or Money" on 26.5.2000, "Fake Fur" on 6.10.2000, "All Fall Down, Part 1" on 27.10.2000 and "All Fall Down, Part 2", 31.10.00 Aug 08 03, 8:41 AM
