Fill an aquarium with water. On one end put many ice cubes. On the other end drop some drops of dye. Why does the dye go directly to the ice cubes and then sink to the bottom?

No joke. The ice cools the water and it sinks to the bottom. It is replaced by water fom the other side of the aquarium and brings the dye with it. The dye then becomes cooler and then sinks
