Where is the statue of IKB (Isambard Kingdom Brunel)? It is no longer at the top of the escalators at Paddington Station, I have just been there.

Not having been to Paddington Station for ages, I do not know if the following will throw any light on the statues whereabouts. http://www.everything2.com/index.pl?node=London Paddington Station Located just off to the north west of Hyde Park and serving the west of England, this is the termination point of the Heathrow Express which is a fast rail link from Heathrow Airport. The station was built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and still retains a very old train station feel - definitely worth a visit (check out the Brunel statue in the small lobby entrance across from track 1 and the Paddington Bear statue in the large glassed-in lobby just above the entrance to the London Underground). This question was asked quite a while ago on the old AFT. I did find a link that said it had been relocated to a different part of Paddington station and there were some details of exactly where. The person who actually asked the question on that occasion was a frequent visitor to Paddington and confirmed its new location on their next visit. Aug 09 03, 12:39 PM
