At the center of the planetary nebula titled NGC 2440 is a white dwarf with a confirmed temperature of greater than 200,000 degrees Celsius.
No other star has had a confirmed temperature measured higher than this at this time.

That link doesn't work and sci.com is not a site likely to have this information being a commercial company site for an Electronics Contract Manufacturer.
I still say the white dwarf at the centre of the planetary nebula titled NGC 2440 is the hottest known star at over 200,000 deg Celsius.
