According to my map mochyn, there are THREE !
Line 1 (red) and Line 2 (green) and the PEARL LINE (line 3 / blue)
Line 1 and 2 intersect at Renmin Guangchang
Line 2 and the Pearl line intersect at Zhong Shan Park
Line 1 and the Pearl meet at Shanghai Zhan (and "technically" 2 other places)

At the risk of being called a smart a--e again, the map given to me by the Shanghai tourist authority states the two subway lines which are imaginately called line 1 and line 2 intersect at People's Square. The Pearl line is stated to be an elevated light rail which I would confirm with my own mince pies
reason for posting the question was to show what wonderful names they have, unlike the tube in London with it's piccadilly line or jubilee or bakerloo lines
