    		A nominal question is one to which the answer is a number.
    This seems to fall into 2 kinds.
    1. How old are you? Answer unrestricted other than laws of nature and (if in realtime) reply validation.
    2. On a scale of 1 to 10 (1= Very very satisfied / 10 = Very very disappointed) What is the level of service from your mobile phone company ?
    This provides the limits for the reply.

    I'm not sure if there is supposedly a magic 7 of these questions used in questionaires but I've not found a reference so far.
