    		He was the frightening looking bearded gentleman who "sang" on 'The Smurf Song'.

    		Found a site that says he was Pierre Kartner. It must be him and he altered his name a bit. Petrum is probably Dutch for Peter/Pierre.

    		I've just found a site that confirms it.
    Gerard Joling entered in 1988 with 'Shangri-la' and Pierre Kartner, he is known as Father Abraham. The man who is known as the father of the Smurfs or Schlümpfe as they are called in Germany. In the Netherlands mister Kartner is known as a person who thinks he knows everything.
