I have never heard of that one and it is therefore not the one I am thinking of. In my one Santa is not involved. The word in the answer for cremation is used as slang.

The word burning is in the title

One last clue. There are 13 words in the title and one of them is a very close female relation.

I need to bring this one back to public attention. I haven't got a clue and nor has anyone I know but it's driving me mad. Isn't ther anyone out there who knows this?????

    Struggling with it myself.
Would like another clue rather than an outright answer if still unsolved in another day or so.
I hope that it is not a big "groan" when we are told a (dodgy?) title by SM

Strictly speaking it should be 15 words as there are two contractions in the title. The group is headed by and named after someone whose surname could also be a christian name.

There should no groans with the answer as the band is/was well known and having heard them I can vouch for them being sensational.

For all you sufferers ou there it's
"There's no lights on the Christmas tree, Mother, they're burning Big Lou." by the Sensational Alex Harvey band. Do I get a big YAY!???

Correction - There's no lights on the Christmas tree, Mother, they're burning Big Louie tonight.

Whilst you may have got it Maggie, I beat you to it even if I didn't post the title in my last posts.
The Band? Very tall - not usually that big AND INVISIBLE !!!!
I thought I'd leave a clue and not spoil the "endless" fun we were having!
I'll give you a little "yay"

Sorry, Dark bark. I didn't (and don't) understand your band references, and when I got the title I thought you must be way off beam. Am I dim or are you too clever? Can you explain?

At last. Only several centuries behind the rest of the world. never heard of the song though. Could you hum it for me?

I had actually heard of the title.
Just didn't put 2 + 2 together until SM said the band was sensational, then it was easy.
Didn't know SAHB did it until then.

Sorry for the delay in yaying but I am having trouble with BT and cannot get on line at home.

I knew adding Sensational was a bit too much.
