Could anyone tell me the names of all Roald Amundsen's party that were the first to reach the South Pole, and additionally what were their birth dates and death dates? It's for a project I am doing and can't seem to obtain this kind of information.

The following are the names of the complete expedition team, but only four including Amundsen reach the South Pole. There is a link with each name but the information is in Norwegian, I think. However, with this information you could and should find out more for yourself since it is your project.

Roald Amundsen and his 4 men team are the first to reach the South Pole
Roald Amundsen (Exp.Leader) Jameson Adams, Olav Bjaaland, Helmer Hanssen, Sverre Hassel, Eric Marshall, Frank Wild, Oscar Wisting
Bay of Whales to the South Pole and back. Amundsen discovered a new route and the team used 57 days to reach the pole. The Norwegian flag was planted at the pole the 16th of December to mark the victory.
