    		George Lansbury - but I've just read that he was only leader of the labour party, not pm so perhaps it's not her.

    		Yay! Her TV show was 'Murder, She Wrote', she played Jessica B Fletcher and her grandfather was George Lansbury. Although she has an American accent now, she was born in London.

    		George Lansbury never became Prime Minister. He became leader of the Labour Party after MacDonald ratted abd formed a National Government.

    However Helena Bonham-Carter is the *great*-granddaughter of H. H. Asquith, who was PM from 1908 to 1916. I don't know whether she's had a TV career in the States.
